Inspired by the granite and sparsely populated trees of the alpine wilderness. I've always loved the cool blues and purples that appear in the shadows of granite. Various trees and shrubs, the ones that can endure the harsh climate, sprout up where they can take hold and root themselves. On this particular hike, I came across this beautiful tree, the sun's light poured through it's branches and leaves, as it reached up and out into the sky. The green of the foliage surrounding it was lit up with an vibrant electric green. Golden hour in all it's glory!
