Originally created in the late 90's as a part of my animal series.  It is one of only a few wildlife paintings I have left.  I used to sell the posters and greeting cards to zoos across the United States.  They are also what helped launch my career into art.  Eventually I changed my style to the landscape post-impressionist style I currently paint, but the wildlife paintings were the beginning of everything for me.
